All assets required to create an ad for SportScape can be found here. There are two types of resources available, Ad Specifications and Templates. If you have any questions, please call our Creative Services Team at (312) 990-0220.

General Specifications

There are two types of ads that can be created for SportScape, Static (no motion) or Animated (have motion). Regardless of format, all ads must be:
• 1280 pixels wide x 720 pixels tall (see Pixel Dimensions picture below)
• 72 DPI
• ALL artwork must be restricted to the TEMPLATE DIMENSIONS outlined below.

For static (or non-animated ads), we can accept a JPEG or PDF.

ANIMATED Ad Specs

All animated ads must be developed in Adobe FLASH. Use our Animated Ad Template to develop your ad. Then forward the FLA to our Creative Team and we will prepare the ad for the network.

Step 1:

When you are designing your ad, some current features of Flash will not function on SportScape, including some filters, action scripting and other features.

* We recommend that you Download Animated Ad Template.

Step 2:

Specific file settings for your ad:
• All fonts and art files (FLAs) must be included in file.
• Completed ad SWFs must be exported as version “FLASH PLAYER 5”
(if you do not export as Flash Player 5, the ad will not run properly on SportScape).
• Total maximum time of play for a standard ad is 15 seconds.
• 20 FPS (frames per second).
• 300 Frames maximum.
• Animation should be set to “Timeline Based”.
• Size of exported .swf should be 300K or less.

Step 3:

Once your ad is ready, email it to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . After we have reviewed the ad, we will prepare it for the network and post online for your final approval. Once approved, the ad can be scheduled to air on SportScape.
